User Properties

User properties tab is intended for control of gathering of the information about print jobs for separate users. The software allows to establish audit and quotas for the concrete user.

Other Users - You can allow or forbid users, which names are absent in the list to print on your printers. If you choose "Not listed users cannot print" option, print jobs from the users absent in the list will be blocked. If you will choose "Not listed users can print" option, print jobs from the users absent in the list will be printed without any restrictions.

Allow Audit - switches on or off gathering the information about print jobs for the chosen user.

Allow User Quotas - switches on or off the control over quotas of the chosen user.

The User Quota fields group defines: a full name of the user (User Full Name) and a certain comment to the user (User Comment); a quota for the user in pages (User Quota, Pages) and in kilobytes (User Quota, Kbytes); amount of the used quota in pages (Quota Used, Pages) and in kilobytes (Quota Used, Kbytes); amount of the remaining quota in pages (Quota remaining, Pages) and in kilobytes (Quota remaining, Kbytes).

To disable checking quotas in kilobytes you should enter "0" to the "User Quota, Kbytes" field. In that case, only quota in pages will be checked.

This section you should using on those computers, on which work of several users is allowed. In particular it concerns the "general purpose" computers which are not having the constant owner. Here it is possible to relate mobile computers of the remote users (taking place outside of office of the company and frequently used by different employees).

At the bottom of the window there are three buttons: OK (closes a window with saving the modified data submitted in a window), Apply (not closing a window, saves the data, submitted in a window) and Close (closes a window, discards the data). If the user has started the console as the "observer" role, after closing the program all modification will lost. Change the settings of gathering of the information the user "Administrator" can only do.
