Remote Info Console

Remote Info Console is intended for viewing statistics of a print jobs for users which have no access to a print server. An administrator can set rights for access to the information being based on a name of the user, group of users or computer's IP address.

The "Remote Info Console" package is not shipped with the Print Logger package. You can download it separately. See "How to download Optional Components"

You can install the "Remote Info Console" software on client computers using downloaded install package:

You can automate the installation in your domain/workgroup. Please read "How to deploy Client Components" chapter.

Work with the program begins with a "General Statistics" tab . On this tab you should enter a name of a print-server for access to the information and press the connect-button button for connection. If check of the access rights has passed successfully, the user receives the information about print jobs. On this tab the information is submitted in a tabular kind.

"Printers Usage" tab allows to look through the print job information in graphical representation. On this page you can see amount of print jobs, amount of users of a print server and other information by days of month. You can choose time period interesting you using the date-pickerdate time picker. Please click on "Refresh" button after selecting the new time interval.

You can use filtering by printer or by user:

You can use filtering by any available field using second table row:

Simply type the filtering value and press "Enter" key.

Now you can see wide range of a statistics reports:

1. Statistics by day;
2. Jobs distribution;
3. Costs spent;
4. Advanced reports and exports.
