Printer Properties

- adds new printer for monitoring.

Add Selected - adds selected printer or printers for monitoring;

Add All - adds all available printers for monitoring;

Close - closes this window.

- removes selected printer from monitoring.

Allow Audit - switches on or off gathering the information about print jobs for the selected user/group.

Allow Quotas - switches on or off the control over quotas of the selected user/group.

Do not adjust settings automatically - disables automatic adjusting for optimal printer's spool settings. You can disable this adjusting when problems in printing occurs.

The Printer Quota fields group defines a quota for the printer in pages (Printer Quota, Pages) and in money units (Printer Quota, Costs); amount of the used quota in pages (Quota Used, Pages) and in money units (Quota Used, Costs); amount of the remaining quota in pages (Quota remaining, Pages) and in costs (Quota remaining, Costs).

Job limit, pages - using this option you can set a print job limit for each print job for selected printer. This option limits number of pages for each print job for this printer. If you set some value for this option, all jobs with pages number lager then defined value will be blocked.

Reset quota for printer - resets quotas for selected printer to start values. Software also resets quotas automatically based on Quota Basis value.

Validate printers - Synchronize users/groups in configuration files and users/groups in your system.

Refresh data - Press this button to refresh users and groups data.

The printer status is underlined in the Printer Status field. In this field the current status of the printer displayed. Status can be the following:

  • "PAUSED";
  • "PENDING DELETION ";
  • "BUSY";
  • "DOOR OPEN";
  • "ERROR";
  • "INITIALIZING";
  • " IO ACTIVE ";
  • " MANUAL FEED ";
  • " NO TONER ";
  • " NOT AVAILABLE ";
  • "OFFLINE";
  • " OUT OF MEMORY ";
  • " OUTPUT BIN FULL ";
  • " PAGE PUNT ";
  • " PAPER JAM ";
  • " PAPER OUT ";
  • " PAPER PROBLEM ";
  • "PRINTING";
  • "PROCESSING";
  • " TONER LOW ";
  • "UNAVAILABLE";
  • " USER INTERVENTION REQUIRED ";
  • " WARMING UP ";
  • " WAITING FOR JOB ".

Printer Jobs displays amount of the print jobs, which are placed in the print queue for the given printer.
